what masht is for

masht is a website where 3 main things happen. These are:

I post reviews and photos of guitars. Most of these will be guitars from my own collection, but not necessarily all.
I post stuff about electric guitar effects pedals.
I post demos of songs that I have written and recorded.

In addition, from time to time, I may post other photographs for sharing with my friends and family. There is nothing to stop you looking at these if you are not my friends or family, but I would find looking at complete strangers' holiday snaps utterly tedious, and suspect you might also.

design, usability, accessability, defects

masht.com is designed to be as usable and as accessable as possible for the majority of internet users. The vast majority of the content will be accessible to you if you are partially sighted using a screen reader. You should be able to use any browser that is still supported by browser manufacturers, and you shouldn't have any problems using compact handheld / palmtop devices. the design is scaleable so that it will fit almost any screen size, and the content is coded in such a way that it the text sizes are scalable, using your browser's text size controls. If you have any usability or accessability problems, or you find a broken link or bug, please contact me and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

The site is hosted by clara.net, who helpfully do not seem to realise that I have exceed the amount of space I am allocated for the hosting package I pay for. Thanks clara.net! clara.net are great. I have used their reasonably priced hosting for years, without problems. I wholeheartedly endorse their product.
The hit counters you may see on some pages are provided for free by www.free-web-counters.net. They seem to be the most unobtrusive ones you can get for free. You can make them more unobtrusive by snipping the source code they give you, which I’m afraid I did. In return, I wholeheartedly endorse their product here.
The photo albums were made using a free tool called Web Album Generator, which is easy to use, and pretty good. Again, I wholeheartedly endorse their product.
I use Gmail to collect emails from you good people at contact.masht@gmail.com. Gmail is great cos it’s made by Google and Google is the best website ever. It should come as not surprise that I wholeheartedly endorse Google's products, in the hope they improve my ranking on their most excellent website.
